Trainees are able to …
- assess the needs of their learners with regard to listening, speaking, reading, writing, lexis, grammar and pronunciation as well as other needs, for example in the field of intercultural learning;
- carry out a needs analysis and analyse placement test or questionnaire results and other sources to establish such needs;
- establish e.g. occupation-related objectives of language learning units;
- develop and adapt materials and tasks that meet the specific needs of learners on different levels of language competency.
